These terms are an agreement between you and The Middle Agent ("we", "us", "our") for using themiddleagent.com. By using the site, you agree to them.
What The Middle Agent is
We're a platform that helps ski & snowboard athletes connect with the right people at brands. We provide the introduction and the tools to present yourself and message each other. We are not a party to any sponsorship, contract, or deal between an athlete and a brand, and we don't guarantee that any connection, sponsorship, or result will happen.
Who can use it
- You must be able to enter into this agreement.
- Under 18? You may only use the site with a parent or guardian's consent, and they accept these terms on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle younger athletes' information.
- The information you provide must be accurate and about you (or a brand you're authorised to represent).
Your account
- Keep your password safe and don't share your account.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account.
Your content
- You keep ownership of the photos, videos links, and details you add.
- By adding content, you give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the service (for example, showing your athlete profile publicly so brands can find you).
- Only upload content you have the right to use, and make sure it's accurate and not misleading.
Rules for using the site
Please don't:
- Create fake profiles or pretend to be someone else.
- Harass, abuse, or spam other people.
- Post anything illegal, offensive, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Try to break, scrape, or misuse the site or other people's data.
- Use brand contact details for anything other than genuine outreach on the platform.
No guarantees
The site is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it useful and available, but we don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will lead to a sponsorship or any particular outcome.
Links to other sites
Profiles may link to services like Instagram or YouTube. Those are run by other companies and have their own terms — we're not responsible for them.
Suspending or closing accounts
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or misuse the site. You can close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@themiddleagent.com.
Our responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site grows. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above. If you keep using the site, that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
